Amy Schumer may be the funniest woman on the planet.
But she gets very serious in the latest issue of Vogue, covering that fashion magazine and touching on someone apparently quite close to her heart.
Like, as close to her heart as one can get.
Asked by the publication about Chicago-based furniture designer Ben Hanisch, who she started dating in January, Schumer replied as follows:
"We’re in love. And we’re still in total honeymoon phase. It’s a real relationship. Who knows what will happen, but we’re real good right now."

Schumer talks a lot about sex and promiscuity as part of her stand-up act, but Hanisch is actually the first person she’s dated seriously since becoming an A-List star.
The lucky man himself dropped the L Word when sharing a photo of himself and Schumer earlier this year.
"One more from last night because this girl looked insanely gorgeous and I’m in love with her," Hanisch wrote as a caption to a red carpet image of himself and Schumer at the Critics Choice Awards.
Elsewhere in the Vogue story, Schumer opened up further about her past love life.
And oral sex life.
"I was always boy crazy, but I wasn’t promiscuous," she said of her teenage years, revealing that her best friends were mostly Catholic-school girls with bad reputations.
"They were acting out sexually years before me. I loved being around that, but I didn’t have sex until I was seventeen.
"And I didn’t give a blow job until I was well into college. I’m sure I had some sort of dick in my mouth, but I wasn’t performing sex acts until later."
Schumer goes on to say she probably slept with six guys sophomore year in college, purposely trying to NOT get attached to anyone.
That strategy wasn’t great for her self-esteem, however.
But "I always thought that sex was funny," she says. "I was always interested in it."
Now, however, she’s only interested in having it with one person: Ben Hanisch.
